Fitted Sheets Material Specifications

here are the material composition ratios and GSM ranges commonly used in the manufacturing of fitted sheets for the following materials:

  • Cotton:

  • Material composition ratios: 100% cotton or cotton blends with polyester, microfiber, or bamboo (ratios vary depending on desired properties)
  • GSM ranges: 120-200 (lower GSM for more permeable, lighter sheets, and higher GSM for thicker, more robust sheets.)

  • Polyester (+Blended options of Cotton and Polyester):

  • Material composition ratios: 100% polyester or polyester blends with cotton and/or other blends.
  • GSM ranges: 60-120 (lower GSM for lighter, more breathable sheets and higher GSM for thicker, more durable sheets)

  • Flannel:

  • Material composition ratios: 100% cotton flannel
  • GSM ranges: 170-200 (higher GSM for thicker, more insulating sheets)

  • Egyptian Cotton:

  • Material composition ratios: 100% Egyptian cotton or cotton blends and others.
  • GSM ranges: 120-200 (depends on customers specifications)

  • Jersey:

  • Material composition ratios: 100% cotton or cotton blends with poly, microfiber.
  • GSM ranges: 120-150 (Higher GSM for thicker, more durable sheets and lower GSM for lighter, more permeable sheets).

  • Linen:

  • Material composition ratios: 100% linen or linen blends with cotton or polyester (ratios vary depending on desired properties)
  • GSM ranges: 100-200 (Lower GSM for sheets that are lighter and more breathable, and greater GSM for sheets that are thicker and more robust).

  • Satin:

  • Material composition ratios: 100% polyester or polyester blends with cotton
  • GSM ranges: 70-120 (Higher GSM for thicker, more robust sheets and lower GSM for lighter, more breathable bedding)

  • Microfiber:

  • Material composition ratios: 100% microfiber or microfiber blends with cotton, polyester
  • GSM ranges: 60-120
